Under the Rain.When we were younger, we built a fort, peter and I. It was in a clearing, in the woods, behind the beach. It was indestructible. I bet it’s still there.Under the Rain.
I was ten; he was eleven, so he liked to believe he was so much older than me. So much stronger, braver, smarter, so much more mature. Right. Well, no matter how much more mature he was, we both thought that our fort was the coolest thing. Like, ever.
Our parents would always get mad at as for sneaking away where they couldn’t find us, but lecture after lecture just went in one ear and out the other. We knew they couldn’t find us, that was the point.
